It was evening, I was on my way home from mother's, a light music played on the radio. My heart got filled with God's love and tears started streaming form my eyes. The images from the past years started to form in my mind. Seven years ago, the Lord Jesus found me in a garbage hole, a lost case of a drug addict abandoned by relatives and friends, and gave me a new heart, led to a wonderful church, gave me the most loving spiritual family and the faithful team of Teen Challenge Ukraine. Here I was taught by personal example to love God and people, walk in the light and be sincere, was taught faithfulness and responsibility, compassion and forgiveness. God has restored my relationship with my family.

I will never forget the two fateful meetings I had in my life. The first one was with two women with bright eyes who visited me when I was dying at the AIDS center. There was life in their eyes. The few words spoken by them changed me: "The Lord wants to have a relationship with you." The second meeting took place on August 31, 2009. It was a prayer I had together with Sergei Glushko, after which I had a meeting with Jesus at night, and I was born again.

I was water baptized in November, 2009. However, I did not know God's will for my life or my gifting. But I was firmly convinced that what is written in the Bible is true, that only God knows what has to happen in my life (Jeremiah 29:11). So, I cried out to God asking Him to give me a vision and guide me. In the book of Jeremiah 33:3 God says, "Call to me and I will answer you", and I was crying out to Him starting at dawn. I started praying and reading the Bible, and I found the key to God's heart! In the Gospel of John 14:18-21 Jesus encouraged his disciples, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” I started reading the Bible every day, meditating on the Word, appling the Word of God to everyday life, started sharing the Gospel with people, and the Holy Spirit began talking to my heart.

My first New Year celebration in sobriety took place in 2009, after 30 years of criminal activities and 20 years of drug addiction, and it was stunning! On the New Year's night, towards morning, the Lord appeared to me in a dream. He was sitting on a dazzling white throne, the light was so bright that I could not see the face, but I knew it was the Lord, that my prayer was heard, and I woke up reeling from the encounter with God. From that day on, my life took a radical turn. The people who I didn't know showed up and decided to cover my tuition at the discipleship school of the Youth with the Mission. While in school, I got my vision and discovered my gifts.

The New Year Eves of 2010 and 2011 I spent in Ethiopia, serving at the "Mother Teresa House". In 2011, God returned to me my apartment in Kyiv and called me to the full time ministry at Teen Challenge Ukraine. In 2012, Jesus brought my mom to Church.

In 2013, I entered the seminary. Presently, I am studying psychology at the university. The Lord Jesus opened the doors and gave me an opportunity to proclaim the Gospel in three high security penal colonies, two prisons, at the drug clinics, rehab centers, hospices, schools, teen camps, and churches. Glory to Him, the Living God.

There was not a minute of regret since the day I gave my heart to Jesus and started to follow Him. There were many difficulties with finances, health, relationships with my family, but God is faithful. During the most difficult moments He was at my side! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who is a part of my life and is praying for me!

I wish you all to have a deep and close relationship with the Heavenly Father!
